It feels like it was only yesterday that we were sitting down with folks at the Waterford Heritage Museum to start coming with a concept for their Photo Life Project. The idea was to take photos from the past, write short scripts based on the photos and then bring the photos to life by matching set, props, etc.
This past weekend (September 14th and 15th), all the hard work and dedication finally paid off as we finally got to shoot these 3 short films. The week leading up to the shoot was hectic. Dean (the director) was in Nashville working with Michael Hyatt which lead to some miscommunication, but everyone managed to pull everything together in the end. The film shoots themselves went incredibly smooth…..well aside from shooting the day after Friday the 13th (we were filming close to Port Dover). We also had some issues with dirt bikes, skeet-shooters, planes… just a lot of random noise! Luckily the actors were patient and great to work with!
We also had a fantastic crew! Everyone had a lot of fun working on this project. It was great meeting and making friends with so many new and creative people.
