This update is a little late getting here because we’ve been so busy these last few days! On August 7th we were out collecting as much aerial footage as the day had hours. We were everywhere in Norfolk County. We started at Whistling Gardens, then managed to get footage of Cleavers Farms, Tototetsu and Unilever, the Delhi Museum and dam,
Backus Mill, Sand Hill Park, then we went to Turkey point to get footage of the Zodiac on the Trip to the Tip, and finally we wrapped at the Burning Kiln after getting some shots of motorcycling. Unfortunately we missed one shot due to rain but we got through most of the day which was great.
We also got to do some test runs with a steady cam!
During the following Saturday we were out rehearsing for the Waterford Photo Life Exhibition Project that we’re working on with the Waterford Heritage and Agriculture Museum. We actually went and ran rehearsals on location to be sure that everything runs smooth the day of the shoot.
The next day was the final day of gathering footage of Norfolk County. We started at Black Creek Stables which is a beautiful farm where you can go horse back riding. We headed to Port Dover to film inside and out of the Harbor Museum. We stopped at the Good Bread Company (we definitely all purchased something).
From there we went to Davids and the Elements Day Spa (both located in the same building). Then we went to the beach in Long Point and finished at the Turkey Point Hotel were we filmed some of my friends having a few drinks.
It’s hard to believe it’s already the middle of August, this year has been just flying by.
